May. 30th, 2012 01:24 am"I have a confession to make." The young magician stated as he loosened his tie once they had landed. He brought them to the roof of some hotel far away from the searchlights. Chikage felt her heart start to sink as she watched the clever man pull his tie free and store it his pockets. He didn't elaborate farther on his confession and she feared the worst. She didn't know anything about this man aside from that his name was Kuroba Toichi and that he had kissed her. Why had her hearted managed to sink to the bottom of her chest so fast?
"…You have other jewels in the bottom of your treasure box?" She voiced her fears. Toichi had been in the middle of shrugging off the white jacket when he glanced over at her.
"Hm?" He looked at the distraught look on his gem's face and couldn't help but smile, something she didn't seem to find amusing. "Oh no, nothing of the sort." He continued to smile at her as she perked up just a little. She felt silly at the relief she felt at his words. She had no way to verify that they were true. How could she so easily become such a-such a girl? Yukiko was the girly-girl. Chikage was the strong and independent Phantom Lady that was supposed to be unattainable.
"The truth is," Toichi began as he unbuttoned the cuffs on his blue button-up shirt. "Your sister called and told me she was worried you were falling into a trap."
"..So this was a favor to Yuki-chan?" Chikage deflated a bit, of course Yukiko had a hand in this.
"Of course not. Yukiko-san has been trying to find a way for us to meet for sometime so when she called all in tears for your safety I thought- 'Why don't I impress her sister by saving her life?" He laughed at his own logic while Chikage just stared, incredulously.
"…You're kidding… right?"
"My dear lady." Toichi's toned change to that of the utmost seriousness as he moved over and took her hand in his. "A phantom thief is nothing but honest." He stated, pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. Chikage felt tingles erupting where his lips had touched her hand. She found that she couldn't bring herself to look away from him, she couldn't resist him even as he started to kiss um her arm, leaving tingles in his wake as he moved slowly but surely to the top of her arm with every intention of seizing her lips again.
This man was dangerous, she realized as he had reached her neck. He had a power to make anyone fall in love with him. No one could ever stand a chance against this kind of power and he wasn't showing her any mercy. Her lips locked with his and her thoughts of danger slipped out of her around the same time her hand slipped out his his and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
